What is Holistic Youth Counselling?
Holistic Youth Counselling supports young people in navigating life's challenges and managing symptoms of distress or uncertainty including anxiety, depression, trauma, overwhelming emotions, and unhelpful thoughts.
Teens can find solace in experiential modalities such as the expressive arts and varied holistic modalities as they offer diverse ways to self-express and navigate their emotions. Furthermore, holistic modalities enable young people to address and heal from traumatic experiences and emotional distress beyond words.
Rather than relying solely on thinking and talking, we emphasise the importance of doing, feeling, and relating. This approach proves to be highly impactful for youth, as it directly influences the holistic development of their brain and nervous system.
